Urban Realty

Urban Realty Co., Inc. is a privately held, commercial real estate operating company headquartered in San Francisco. Its principals are David Rhoades and Sean Thompson, who have over fifty years of cumulative experience in commercial real estate.

Urban Realty partners with institutional and private capital sources for purposes of acquiring significant assets, and then implementing a specific business plan for creating value and maximizing the asset's potential.

Urban Realty seeks properties which are well-located in submarkets with franchise characteristics and multiple barriers to entry, and are generally at least $10-50+ million in value. Urban Realty also acquires distressed debt with the objective of gaining control of the real estate. Its geographic focus is the San Francisco Bay Area and the major metro markets of the West Coast.

SAN FRANCISCO — Mulberry has assigned its lease at 166 Grant Ave. in Union Square to Giorgio Armani and Armani agreed to a long-term extension with the building owner. Armani plans a full remodel of the premises with the latest prototype for a 2016 opening. Armani is currently located at 278 Post St.
