Urban Realty

Urban Realty Co., Inc. is a privately held, commercial real estate operating company headquartered in San Francisco. Its principal is David Rhoades, who has over thirty years of cumulative experience in commercial real estate.

Urban Realty partners with institutional and private capital sources for purposes of acquiring significant assets, and then implementing a specific business plan for creating value and maximizing the asset's potential.

Urban Realty seeks properties which are well-located in submarkets with franchise characteristics and multiple barriers to entry and are generally at least $10-50+ million in value. Its geographic focus is the San Francisco Bay Area and the major metro markets of the West Coast.

In addition to its direct investment activities, Urban Realty offers advisory services with extensive experience in Union Square and the Bay Area.

Recent advisory assignments include the sale of the Williams Sonoma flagship store on Union Square. Urban Realty was engaged by the owner to negotiate an off-market disposition that closed on October 2018.
